As anyone who is on the internet knows, a new Star Wars teaser trailer dropped late last week. It seemed that all of social media exploded at once, like a million silent voices cried out in enthusiasm.
It's not hard to see why either, that's how you do a teaser trailer.
And while I could have written a blog praising whoever scripted/ cut that thing together (seriously, that guy deserves a raise), this is about another great editor.
Someone who saw the trailer and knew it could be better... in a different way.
This is a video of Matthew Mcconaughey reacting to the trailer.
.
It's actually video taken from the film Interstellar, but knowing that sorta takes the fun out of it. Seriously, the part where he raises his hand after the guy on the trailer does gets me every time.

Love In The Air
With Valentine's in the air I thought I would get a little sappy this week... by listing the top 873 reasons my American girlfriend is so awesome.
I'm kidding... though I do plan to do something "romantic."
Disney put together this short film a little while ago ( I believe it ran before Wreck It Ralph).
It uses a combo of classic cartooning and modern computer animation.

I like a story that can be told without words. This is one of those tales.
Looks, movements and the (awesome) soundtrack (seriously, 5:15's music gave me chills) do all the talking on this one.

When Engineers Get Bored
Is your church looking for a drummer? They can be hard to find. Especially a good one. So why not get this guy? Not only does he keep perfect time, he's also never late and goes until the battery dies.
The only real draw back I can see is the whole General Grievous/Alien look.
That may scare some people...
But once they hear his drumming chops, all will be right in the world again!
